About Us

With our unique presence on the Costa Blanca, we offer our members and clients the possibility to enjoy their classic or sports car experience in an international club environment, where we host many events and meetings. We offer a wide range of services to classic and sports car owners, driving experiences to classic car enthusiasts as well as a selection of beautiful cars for sale.

Our ambition is to enable everyone to enjoy their classic or sports car passion in the privileged sunny and beautiful environment of the Costa Blanca and mingle with likeminded aficionado’s. Visit us and join the club. Let us welcome you to Drivers Club 55.

Drivers Club 55 started in 2021. Originally created as Club 55 Classic Cars, we became Drivers Club 55 in 2024 following some important and necessary adjustments based on the experiences gathered over the first three years.

David, founder of Drivers Club 55, has been visiting the area almost every year since he was an 8-year-old boy. In 2017 he decided to seize the opportunity to live here on a permanent basis and cherished the idea to start an activity with classic cars on the Costa Blanca. For many years he has been passionate about cars and actively involved in motorsports. During almost all his “amateur” racing career he raced with car number 55. This explains why “55” is a very personal thing for David in relation to his activities with cars and why many people know him better as “David 55”. He speaks 5 languages so do not hesitate to get in touch to find out more about Drivers Club 55 and start sharing your passion and experiences. 

Meet the Team

David (aka David “55”) - Founder of Drivers Club 55

After an intense professional career in management consulting, he decided to seize the opportunity in 2017 to permanently move to the area he has been visiting for more than 50 years. Combined with his background of more than 20 years of “amateur” car racing with car N° 55, it was obvious for him to set up an activity with cars in this beautiful environment.

Thijs knows the inland better than most of us. The drives he sets out for our Cars & Coffee meetings twice a month are absolutely stunning with beautiful roads and breathtaking scenery and often contain little surprises of locations we never knew they existed.

Serban –
Jeep Specialist


Serban, an old friend of David, moved to the area recently and is the newest member of the team. In his suitcase he is bringing us his very extensive experience, knowledge and competence about Jeeps. We know a lot of Jeep dealerships in Belgium that will miss him tremendously.

And this was it - 4 hours in an open top 1965 Mustang was an exhilarating experience.
